Frequently Asked Questions

1) How do I know if I’m getting a return on my investment?

Tracking how many “likes” your social media pages get or relying on other hard numbers is not necessarily the best measure of a successful social strategy. Social media is about generating social signals and brand awareness, so it may take months before you begin to see the impact that having an active online presence has for your business. Consumers expect businesses to have a social media presence: if they cannot find you or your page looks abandoned, it’s a red flag that causes potential customers to question your legitimacy. One way to think of social media is as a frequently changing billboard–you are putting your brand in front of people constantly so that your business is the first they think of when they need the services you offer. See our why Social Beautify page for more about the importance of a strong social media presence.

Here are a few important statistics regarding the impact of social marketing on small businesses:

  • 78% of people who contact a company on Twitter expect a response within an hour.
  • 8 out of 10 small businesses use social media for their business to drive growth.
  • 3 in 5 businesses report that they have gained new customers by using social media.
  • Americans spend an average of 37 minutes per day on social networking channels.
  • 46% of web users look to social media when making a purchase.
  • Over 90% of users say they follow businesses on social media to see promotions.

3) Can you make a Facebook paid advertisement for me?

Yes! Paid advertisements are a great way to get information about your salon or spa to people other than your followers. Although promotional posts are included in your package, paid advertisements require purchasing credits within Facebook. We include one paid Facebook advertisement in your one-time setup fee. Additional custom, branded Facebook advertisements that focuses on customers in your area start as low as $100 (which includes $20 worth of Facebook advertisement credits).

4) Is there a contract?

Social media management and online optimization takes a little bit of time before you begin to see results. Knowing this, our plan has a three month commitment to ensure you get to see the results of your optimized, branded content. After the first three months, our plans are month-to-month and you can cancel at anytime. However, since our team creates content for you 2 weeks in advance, we ask that you give us 2 weeks notice before you cancel your account.

5) How much do your plans cost?

Our Social Beautify Experience plan includes optimization/management of your Facebook and Twitter accounts and starts at $199 per month (after a one-time setup fee of $399), with additional social channels available for $39 per month, per account. Our online brand reputation service can be added to your plan for an additional $99 per month.

6) What is included with your start up fee?

The one-time setup fee includes the creation and optimization of your social media accounts, an online brand assessment, branding documents, a social media calendar, one paid Facebook advertisement, and updated/new listings on the top 25 local online directories to help strengthen your ranking in Google searches. Most agencies charge at least $300 just to setup your Facebook account and provide a content calendar, so we’re pleased to be able to provide you with this package of services at such an affordable price.

7) How long does it take for you to start posting content?

It will take about 2 weeks before content will be posted to your accounts. Here is what happens during these 2 weeks:

  • We’ll send you your branding quiz, in-depth branding assessment and intake form for you to complete. (Please allow at least 30 minutes to fill these forms out carefully)
  • Once we receive your completed forms, we’ll submit your business information to the top 25 online local directories to help strengthen your search results in Google and provide you with a branding and online presence analysis report.
  • Then we’ll get started on creating your first week of branded content for you to review and approve to make sure our content is “on-brand.”
  • After you give us your approval, we’ll begin posting your content and tracking results!
